Instruments of Vision #02: Resolution Study
The installation uses instruments of observation and microscopic videography to create the sensational seeing and perceiving, text and sound of both scientific and fictional narratives (video Essay [Random Access Memory]). This project is mainly to study the non-boundary of exactitude and abstraction through the resolution of seeing and remembering.

Instruments of Vision #03: Wave Study
They are media objects of Wave Studies generated through soundwaves, codes, and visualized through an oscilloscope, for contemporary perception of Signal Culture. Personally, inspired by the concept of Fourier Transformation, I am experiencing and trying to tell the shifting perspectives of temporality and eternity of time, presenting them with moving images and sound embedded in a form of painting.

Something Is Wrong with Our Compromise
Photomontage
6x4.5in
"Something Is Wrong with Our Compromise" attempts to evoke ideas about guilt, apprehensive complicity, and decay. The figures on the left are paused on a newly constructed staircase and look toward the stairs’ eventual rotting form, which is obstructed from direct view by a contemporarily designed interior structure. The figures seem to be aware of and discomforted by what lies on the other side and its connection to the space they occupy, yet they are insulated from its intensity by an elegant construction of similar transience. The inverted scales of the staircases and interior structure suggests the fleeting and peripheral nature of this dynamic’s impression. The faint uneasiness and uncertainty about their culpability for some ambiguous negative is meant to drive this work’s effect on the viewer and prompt examination of our relationship with physical spaces.

Mercy at the Hand of an Incredibly Well-Adjusted Fellow
Photomontage
4.5x7.5in

"Mercy at the Hand of an Incredibly Well-Adjusted Fellow" captures a moral alignment that resists expectations and disappoints an audience.
"A Charitable Response to a Dramatic Interpretation and Subsequent Demonstration" captures an unreciprocated expression of romantic interest.
