QUICK EXHIBITION GUIDE

Form, Transform, Reform

ART&TECH EXPO

Opening with Prof. Greg Niemeyer

Welcome to the 2021 ART&TECH EXPO: form, transform, reform

In the current age of technology, people are engineering our future. The internet, biotech, augmented reality, virtual reality, AI, "the singularity" ... all these experiments are changing our lives, our view of the world, and our perception of self. How does art play a role in our tech-experience today? How does art intersect with technology? How do art & tech push the bounds of our current states, imaginations, and define new meanings?
Welcome to our second virtual art exhibition highlighting tech arts: ART&TECH EXPO - form, transform, reform! We are excited to have you here to celebrate the creativity of our community together.

To
define

We define Form, Transform, and Reform as below:

Form: action of building

Transform: changing an object from a basic state to a more complete state

Reform: changing a preexisting system to build a new system - ideological, materialistic, conventional, etc.

The ART explores the intersection of art and technology. Many works evoke interdisciplinary topics, such as technology identity, technology and social justice, and technology and the environment. From 2D to 3D, paintings to sculptures, physical media to digital software, the works include a variety of media.

The ART

There are three sections, or “exhibition rooms”, in our virtual gallery. You are welcome to start with anyone of them:

The Gallery

We hope you enjoy the TECH-art and be inspired by the artists' creativity as you navigate The EXPO!
